Our story

How Great Falls Movement Center came together.

Great Falls Movement Center was founded in 2025 by Mary Jean Stack of Great Falls Physical Therapy and Ashley Rose of Great Falls Pilates—two practitioners who had spent years caring for the same community from two different disciplines.

The idea was simple: recovery, movement, and clinical care belong in the same place. Rather than open another standalone wellness studio, they built the piece that connects the two practices already here—a restorative space with medical-grade red light therapy and PEMF, a private infrared sauna, InBody body composition analysis, massage, and personal training, under the same roof as physical therapy and Pilates.

That is what makes the center unusual. It was built by practitioners, not by a brand. You can be evaluated by a licensed physical therapist, train with a coach, take a Pilates session, and book a recovery appointment without starting over somewhere new each time.

We are a local, independent business in Great Falls, Virginia—not a franchise and not a chain. The people who founded this center are the same people you will see in the building.
